This task-oriented guide covers the authenticated Price Alerts workspace. The public document contains instructions and placeholders only. It does not load customer definitions, destinations, market observations, or delivery payloads.
Before you create an alert
- Register or sign in, then open Price Alerts.
- For email, verify the current account address. For Telegram, securely link your own private bot chat.
- Review supported assets and the displayed shared account quota.
- Activate the account-wide Premium Trial or Price Alerts evaluation only when you intend to use it. Viewing or drafting does not activate either offer.
Choose an asset and condition
- Select a supported currency, gold, coin, or cryptocurrency asset.
- Choose above or below and enter
<protected-market-value>, or choose absolute percentage change and enter<percentage-change>. - Select the notification language.
- Select verified email, linked private Telegram, or both.
- Save as desired-active or keep the definition paused when you are not ready to evaluate it.
Understand recurrence and baselines
The first eligible observation establishes a baseline. A notification is created only when a later observation crosses the condition from the other side. After delivery, the alert can re-arm for a future crossing. Editing, restoring access, or returning after quota suspension establishes the safe baseline required by the current state; missed crossings are never replayed.
Manage definitions
- Edit: change the asset, condition, placeholder threshold or percentage, language, and destinations.
- Pause: keep the definition without evaluating new observations.
- Resume: request active evaluation again, subject to entitlement, capacity, destination readiness, and quota.
- Delete: remove the customer definition. Operational records follow the configured retention policy.
Access, capacity, and quota states
Paid access uses the configured paid capacity. During the Premium Trial or feature evaluation, up to five definitions can be desired-active. When access expires, definitions remain visible but evaluation and delivery pause. When the shared quota is exhausted, desired-active alerts resume automatically after reset with a fresh baseline. Evaluation and delivery retries are free; each new triggered occurrence uses one unit even when both channels are selected.
Delivery outcomes and troubleshooting
- Email unavailable: verify the current account address and retry after mail service recovery.
- Telegram unavailable: reconnect the private chat and keep the bot conversation private.
- No trigger: confirm that a later observation actually crossed the condition; remaining on the same side does not retrigger.
- Quota exhausted: wait for the displayed reset. Do not recreate the alert; it can resume automatically.
- Access expired: renew eligible access. Retained definitions are not evidence that evaluation is running.
- Provider outcome unknown: follow the safe status shown in the workspace and avoid repeated manual actions that could duplicate a private notification.
Privacy and safe support
Do not paste API keys, linking tokens, email addresses, Telegram identifiers, real thresholds, market observations, or delivery payloads into a public support message. Use placeholders such as <protected-market-value> and share only the safe status and request identifier needed for support.
